Highlands chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star will hold its annual barbecue from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 on the lawn of the Methodist Church on Main Street. Proceeds from this barbecue will go to the Grand Chapter Scholarship Fund and the Highlands Rotary Scholarship Fund. Everyone is invited and encouraged to come out for this event.
