The Macon County Humane Society will host “Mardi Paws,” a Mardi gras-themed fundraiser for the shelter, at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Mill Creek Country Club banquet hall. The event will feature food, cocktails, dancing and a live auction. Tickets are $50. To purchase tickets or for more information, call 524-4588.
