The Nantahala Hiking Club will take a moderate 4-mile hike Feb. 23 to Kephart Prong along the Oconaluftee River in Great Smoky Mountains National Park to see the remains of an old CCC camp. Meet at Bi-Lo in Franklin at 10 a.m. Call leader Gail Lehman, 524-5298, for reservations. Visitors are welcome, no pets please.
