Larry Tondee has been a furniture and home furnishings fixture in the greater Rome community for more than two decades.

Tondee’s Furniture has been located at 2429 Shorter Avenue in Rome for the past nine years. “We do it all,” Tondee said. “We offer custom design services, too.”

Eileen Poling has done customer interior design work for Tondee for a number of years.

The current location offers customers a nice 10,000 square foot showroom, tastefully loaded with exquisite dining rooms, living rooms, sectional sofas, bedrooms and all sorts of accessories including mirrors, floor and table lamps and beautiful art work.

The store includes all of the leading brand names including England, Catnapper, Pulaski, Liberty, Bassett, Parker House and American Drew, just to name a few.

If an item is not available in the store, Tondee is able to custom order merchandise with a turnaround time of five working days or less. He will also offer quick delivery service to customers in the Rome area.

Tondee’s accepts all major credit cards and is able to work with customers to arrange financing through a number of vendors.
