The Village Green is excited to kick off the holiday season with festive celebrations on Friday, Nov. 28. Residents and visitors are invited to join in the fun at the annual Mistletoe Market and Lights on The Green events, both offering something special for everyone!
The day begins with the Mistletoe Market, an artisan holiday gift market featuring 17 local artists showcasing their handcrafted goods. Visitors can shop for unique, one-of-a-kind gifts such as handwoven shawls, local honey, hand-poured candles, wood crafts, and much more! The market will be held indoors at Lewis Hall from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will also feature select outdoor vendors in the Commons Pavilion. There is no entry fee, and the event is open to all!
The celebration continues in the evening with the Lights on The Green tree lighting ceremony, happening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Gazebo Lawn near the Cashiers Crossroads. The event will include festive holiday music, cozy fire pits, s’mores, a special appearance from Santa, and tasty treats available for purchase from Crossroads Custard. The highlight of the evening is the grand lighting of the 65-foot spruce tree, beautifully illuminated with thousands of twinkling lights, along with additional lights throughout the park. The trees will officially light at approximately 5:45 p.m. This free community event will bring joy to all ages, and the lights will remain on display through February 2026.
