Every November, the Highlands Chamber of Commerce celebrates the successes of the business community with the annual Autumn Ovation. This year’s event was hosted by Old Edwards at the new Woodfire Bistro and Bar, Four65.
Chamber Executive Director Kaye McHan welcomed Chamber members and introduced and thanked Chamber Board members who had served during the year.
A special part of the event is the presentation of three prestigious awards, which are given to individuals and businesses, acknowledging their significant contributions to Highlands.
Chamber board chair Hillary Wilkes presented the Robert B. Dupree Community Service Award to representatives of the Highlands-Cashiers Health Foundation.
Chamber board vice-chair Mary Adair Trumbly presented the Duke Energy Volunteer of the Year award to Steve Mehder and Chamber board member John Woods presented the Del Roberts Outstanding Business or Organization Award to the Town of Highlands.
