The Highlands School Cross Country team traveled to Robbinsville on Tuesday, Oct. 6, to participate in the Currahee Classic.
Timothy McDowell placed highest for the day in the two-mile run with a time of 12:58.20 to place fifth.
Jim De La Cruz placed 14 in the two-mile run with a time of 14:02.80, Courtney Logan placed 17 in the girls two mile run with a time of 15:45.90, Margaret Cole placed 40, with a time of 18:31.80 in the two-mile run, Luke Hartman, the sole high schooler placed 45, in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 31:59.60 and Francisco Gooch placed 57, in the two mile run with a time of 18:13.20.
