Highlands took control of the ball early, tallied a first-half goal, and held up defensively in the second half of a 2-0 win over visiting Rabun Gap on Tuesday night.
After 14 minutes of back and forth action, Anabelle Hayes got the home team on the board when she fired a shot into the top right corner of the net.
Rabun Gap answered with multiple scoring chances late in the first half, but the Highlands defense protected the 1-0 advantage until halftime.
Following the intermission, Penelope McRae secured the victory with an insurance marker for the Highlanders.
Highlands will be back in action at Summit Charter today.
