Highlanders kick off season

    The Highlanders came up short on the soccer field against the Pisgah Bears on Wednesday, Aug. 20, falling 3-1.
    Highlands’ loss dropped their record  to 0-2. As for Pisgah, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1. On Monday, Aug. 25, the Highlander boys soccer team lost their match against Smoky Mountain High School by a score of 0-3, dropping their record to 0-3 before their matchup with Madison on Wednesday night. 
    The Highlanders will be on  home turf Thursday, Aug. 28, as they take on the Franklin Panthers at 6 p.m. in Highlands.
