The Highlands Food and Wine Festival will be holding vaccine checks and free COVID testing from Nov. 10 – 14 in Highlands.
Guests can still bring proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test conducted elsewhere, as long as it is within three days of the festival.
Once cleared, you will receive a wristband that will be valid for the entire weekend.
An email sent to ticket holders said the advanced screening will help to alleviate lines at the event gates.
“A reminder that the last day to get vaccinated for HFWF was Oct. 28, and vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test is required for entry to all events,” The email said. “If you are unable to comply with these safety precautions, please visit our website for information on how to resell your tickets through Lyte, our ticket resale partner. Thank you for understanding, and we will see you for food, drink and tunes next month.”
The location for the vaccine checks and COVID testing is 478 Dillard Road in Highlands.
The dates and times are below:

In August of this year, the Food and Wine Festival announced that it would require all patrons to provide documentation of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test to attend.
For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours (three days,) prior to attendance at any Highlands Food and Wine Festival event.
“The health and safety of our patrons, staff and vendors remains our top priorities,” Casey Reid, Highlands Food and Wine Festival Director, said. “We will continue to monitor best practices and guidelines established by state and local health authorities in order to be able to safely bring the community together for our 5th Annual Highlands Food and Wine Festival.”
