Officials recognize PAC construction progress

Donors, Representatives from the Highlands Cashiers Chamber Music Festival, the Highlands Cashiers Players, the Highlands Playhouse (resident groups), town officials, and representatives from Choate Construction and JLL were on hand to toast champagne and sign the interior wall of the backstage area.
The precast walls started going up last Tuesday and will be completed by the end of this week.
PAC executive director Mary Adair Trumbly said, “It’s so exciting to see the construction begin to rise up. It has been an amazing sight to watch the truck drivers back these walls into the lot, the crane operator lifts the walls into place and all the construction crew make it all fit together. Total teamwork.”
