Clarence Brock Bauknight

Clarence Brock Bauknight, age 86, of Greenville, SC passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022. He was born on May 14, 1936 in Anderson, SC and raised in Walhalla, SC. He was the son of the late John Edward Bauknight and the late Theodosia Brock Bauknight.

Virginia Patricia Hogan

Virginia (Ginie) Patricia Hogan, 74, was born on Sept. 10, 1948 in New York City, New York and passed away on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022.  She spent her childhood in Bristol, Virginia and Kingsport, Tennessee before attending the University of Tennessee and graduating from Vanderbilt University.

Ronnie Calloway

Ronnie Calloway, 74, of Brevard, passed away on Oct. 8, 2022. A native of Franklin, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Claude Lewis and Marie Dalton Calloway. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Doris Underwood, and his brothers, W.C.

Nancy Woods Stamp

Nancy Woods Stamp left us on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022. She was born on January 31, 1978, along with her twin Benjamin, in Newnan, GA to parents John P. Woods Jr. and Elizabeth Anderson Woods. She is survived by her husband Jim and Shelby, their golden retriever of Cashiers, NC.

Thomas Joel (Joe) Edwards

Thomas Joel (Joe) Edwards, of Amelia Island, went to be with his Lord on September 17, 2022.  He was predeceased by his loving wife, Sara Mankin Edwards.  Joe was born on June 12, 1936 to the late Thomas Harold Edwards and Ann Edwards-Allen.

Geraldine Henderson Berry

Mrs. Geraldine ‘Nana” Henderson Berry, 84 of Franklin passed away Friday, September 9, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, in the chapel of Bryant-Grant Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Stillwell and Rev. Jason Stevens officiating.

Dr. Jim Sherard

It’s not easy condensing a man’s life of almost 101 years into a few paragraphs, especially one as sweet and kind as Jimmy Sherard.  Known for his compassionate heart and gentle spirit, Jim peacefully passed through God’s heavenly gates at precisely 4 a.m. on the morning of Aug. 26.
