In August of this year, the Food and Wine Festival announced that it would require all patrons to provide documentation of vaccination, or a negative COVID-19 test to attend.
Thursday, Nov. 11
Grand Tasting featuring Rufus Lee and The Handful. The festival begins at 7-10 p.m., at Kelsey Hutchinson Founders Park.
Friday, Nov. 12
The Truckin Event is scheduled for Nov. 12, at The Bascom, featuring Hiss Golden Messenger from noon to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday, Nov. 13
The Main Event featuring Amos Lee is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 13, on Main Street and Fourth Street from noon to 3:30 p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 14
The Sunday Shindig featuring Devon Gilfillian is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 14 at Kelsey Hutchinson Founders Park from noon to 3:30 p.m.
COVID protocols:
The Highlands Food and Wine Festival will be holding vaccine checks and free COVID testing from Nov. 10 – 14 in Highlands.
Guests can still bring proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test conducted elsewhere, as long as it is within three days of the festival.
Once cleared, you will receive a wristband that will be valid for the entire weekend.
An email sent to ticket holders said the advanced screening will help to alleviate lines at the event gates.
The location for the vaccine checks and COVID testing is 478 Dillard Road in Highlands.

• Wednesday, Nov. 10: 10 a.m., to 3 p.m.
• Thursday, Nov. 11: 9 a.m., to noon
• Friday, Nov. 12: 9 a.m., to noon
• Saturday, Nov. 13: 9 a.m., to noon
• Sunday, Nov. 14: 9 a.m., to noon

For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours (three days,) prior to attendance at any Highlands Food and Wine Festival event.

Backwoods Bakery, The Crafty Goat, Highlands Smokehouse, Indaco, Root Down, The Scarlett Bee and Wicked Good Pretzels.

What to bring:
• Government Issued I.D.
• Printed copy of proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 PCR test results (you will receive a wristband once shown)
• Barcoded event tickets from Universe
• Mask
• Cash or credit card for merchandise
• Proper attire for forcasted weather

• Pets (Service animals are permitted)
• Outside food and drink
• Chairs are not permitted at events unless stated
• Illegal drugs
• Children under the age of 21
• Cigarettes – this is a non-smoking event
Parking:
There is limited parking at each of the events. Please consider walking or carpooling to limit cars needing to park.
There is no guest parking at the Truckin’ event. All guests must park in public spaces and walk to the Bascom. Do not park at the Highlands Post Office or you will be towed.
