Domestic and international visitors to and within Jackson County spent $468 million in 2023, an increase of 3.4 percent from 2022. The data comes from an annual study commissioned by VisitNC, a unit of the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina.

Highlanders open fall sports season with volleyball match

The annual Antique Show came back to Cashiers for its 46th year over the weekend, from Friday, August 9 through Sunday, Aug. 11 at The Village Green.

The annual Cashiers Cares golf tournament, which will benefit 10 local charities in the area, is coming back to for its third year on Monday, Sept. 16 at the Trillium Links golf course at 10:30 a.m.
