Cashiers Area Chamber of Commerce is bringing back Burger Week for its third year, drawing in another delicious offering of hamburgers from select participating restaurants. The week-long event kicks off April 26.

If it’s time for a toast, the new Highlands ABC store has you covered. On Thursday, the ABC Board members, town officials, store staff, and members of the public gathered for an official ribbon cutting at the new store location on Oak Street.

Legal fight over Cashiers Marketplace water source continues

Following changes to the Cashiers Marketplace development plan, a lawsuit has been filed by the Holly Forest Association and the Fairfield Sapphire Valley Master Association Inc., which were granted an injunction to prevent the connection of wells until the lawsuit is resolved.

Heritage Apple Day is back this year to bring the Cashiers community another thrilling activity for the spring season. Hosted by the Cashiers Historical Society, the event is free and open to the public and will be held on April 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
