Town and Country General Store owner named to Marquis Who’s Who

After being nominated by a customer unknowingly, Town and Country General Store owner Valerie Walker will be listed in the Marquis Who’s Who. Marquis Who’s Who was established in 1898 and began publishing biographical data in 1899.

Otto man opens first-ever mobile tire shop serving Highlands area

Brandon Fenoglio, an Otto local, has started the first-ever mobile tire shop, Delivered Car Care, to serve the Plateau. After working in a tire shop, Fenoglio said he knew he wanted to open his own shop but buying a building would be a far stretched dream.

Christmas events around the Plateau

Christmas is just around the corner and there are several events coming up to get residents in the holiday spirit. The events get kicked off with the Highlands Tree Lighting on Saturday, Nov. 27., in Kesley Hutchinson Founders Park.

Town meets with planning board to review proposed amendments to UDO on short-term rentals

On Monday, Nov. 22, the Highlands Town Board of Commissioners held a workshop with the planning board to go over a proposed draft of changes to the unified development ordinance.
