The Bascom hosts 15th Annual Clay Symposium

The Bascom: A Center for the Visual Arts hosts the 15th Annual Bascom Clay Symposium, “Forms of Inspiration,” Sept. 26–27. This celebrated event gathers prominent ceramic artists Kirsten Stingle, Natasha Dikareva, and Thaddeus Erdahl to explore narrative and figurative ceramic sculpture.

THREE LOST IN PLANE CRASH

Three people were killed Thursday afternoon when a single-engine aircraft crashed in the Iotla community. Grammy award-winning songwriter Brett James, 57, was killed in the crash alongside his wife, Melody Wilson, 59, and stepdaughter, Meryl Wilson.
