Mr. Patrick “Pat” Franklin Moore, III, 77, of Aiken, SC, passed away Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021. Pat was born in Northfield, MN, a son of the late Patrick F. Moore, Jr. and Marie Whatley Moore. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and former Division President of Owens Corning Fiberglas.

Candyce “Candy” Field passed away peacefully at home in Highlands, on May 23, 2021, after a four and a half year struggle with cancer. She was 74.

Willa Mae Baumgarner Stewart, 90 of Cullowhee passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2021. She was born April 27, 1931 in Jackson County, to the late Claude Baumgarner and Arizona McCall Baumgarner. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m.

Charles Samuel Cabe

Charles Samuel Cabe, 73 of Franklin, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021. Sam was born in Jackson County, on Sept. 17, 1947 to the late Homer and Thelma Cabe. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Bryant‑Grant Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed at Addington Cemetery.

Edna Phillips Bryson

Mrs. Edna Phillips Bryson, 94, passed away Thursday, May 20, 2021. She was born October 12, 1926 in Macon County to the late James Roy Phillips and Octia Henry Phillips.  Edna was a lifelong resident in Highlands and was married to the late Walter Neville Bryson who preceded her in death July 2010.

Emily Graves Edwards

Emily Graves Edwards, 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 with her family by her side.  She joins her parents, Varney and Mary Graves, brother Arthur and sister Kristen in God’s embrace. Emily is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert C.
